UTOPIA.JETZT – the 2020 federal congress can begin!
After a short welcome address from Sarah Theilacker, UTOPIA.NOW project lead, and Anne Schneider, director of the German Association of Independent Performing Arts, Tim Tonndorf, independent director and Prinzip Gonzo member, will guide us through the utopian opening act.
The programme includes Minister of State Prof. Monika Grütters, The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media , Dr. Klaus Lederer, Berlin senator for culture and Europe, Annemie Vanackere, artistic and managing director of the HAU Hebbel am Ufer, and Janina Benduski, chair of the German Association of Independent Performing Arts’ board. They’re all bringing along their personal utopias, providing topics of conversation for the following champagne reception to open the congress and celebrate our association’s 30th anniversary.
The event will be held in German and will be translated simultaneously into English.
